Hello again.
I am just about finished with my game prototype of my Doctor Who platformer.
So, quick review of the entire project development:
Entry # 7, the proposal of my design intention, in the most raw form possible.
Entry # 8, the experimentation of shapes and the see if my visuals are solid enough to tell a story.
Entry # 9, the experimentation of colours and study on its’ importance and impact; as well to see which best suited my idea. (contrast, mood, etc)
Entry # 10, putting details into my prototype and removing certain features due to time restraints. (better to pass up something “bad”, than nothing at all)
So, what happened after the last entry?
I have:
- looked for suitable textures/tiles to fit into the prototype (blocks mostly)
- looked for music files, downloaded and edited into the prototype
- created subtle animations of both the Doctor and the Daleks
- put all the assets together to create a playable prototype
Below is the link to my current “stable” build, and the asset list that was used in this project.

And that’s it for this project, for now.
Just like the last project, I kept the original Stencyl build into my Google Drive, and will keep trying to add or refine it as the weeks pass by.
Until then, have an exciting week.
